Product Information
These 19th century brightly decorated Famille rose enamel table accents are perfect for small gifts or home interiors to help fill in your tabletops. These small dishes hailed from China and were created using Canton enameling. This process was initially introduced to the Chinese by Jesuit missionaries and invented in Limoges, France, in the 15th century.
These circular table dishes are hand-painted in vivid yellows, pinks, blues, and the undersides are each decorated in leafy greens. Each plate is hand-signed China on the bottom, an import mark, required during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
