							Product Information
This painting by Ethel Horsfall Ertz (1897 – 1918), influenced by Sir George Clausen RA and his impressionist watercolor landscapes, is a fine example of a 19th/20th-century watercolor artist. In the spring, this painting of the English countryside depicts the budding trees, divided by a rolling brook against spring farmland. The painting inscribed “a list of England, with love Ethal Ertz” the watercolor circa 1916-1918. A superb organic colored washes in warm greens, blues, browns, and blues.
