Imp Rue Nve des Mathurines, 58, Paris, G. Duseigneur.del. et. sculp. possibly after Jean-Bernard Duseigneur. The image depicts a merchant vendor in a Cairo street market. The 19th century produced many such depictions of the Middle East, Africa, and Indian exploration and mystery. This antique engraving is a fine example of European exploration art of the Victorian and Edwardian eras.
