Wooden Japanese netsuke owl. Taisho era. 20th century. It is signed in Kanji in an inlaid white and iron red hand-signed seal underside. The netsuke sculpture depicts an owl sitting atop a branch with eyes wide. The dark walnut tone of the wood matched with inlaid inset glass eyes.

Condition
The netsuke has light wear and a chip to one ear and the rims of the inlaid eyes.
