					Shop this Gihachiro Okuyama Shin Hanga woodblock print. Gihachiro Okuyama was a 20th-century Japanese artist and woodblock printmaker. He created artwork in the shin-hanga and sosaku-hanga styles. Working both in the commercially accepted tradition of shin hanga romantic woodblock prints of early 20th century Japanese Taisho and Showa era and the folk art style of sosaku-hanga.  
 
This processional monochromatic print is a subtle artwork in line with the practice of the sosaku-hanga style. The small dog on the left-hand corner of the print is a charming and cute addition to this Japanese folk art woodblock print’s overall peaceful aesthetic. The scene image very reflective of artist Gihachiro Okuyama’s woodblocks. The print retains the artist’s chop mark in black in the lower right-hand corner of the image.
