The rim edge is decorated crowned monogram and a gilt decorated ridge. The plate’s hand-painted center motif displays a vibrant still life painting of wildflowers.
The underside displays Sevres green lozenge porcelain markings corresponding to a date range between 1854 ad 1858. An outstanding example of Sevres French porcelain china, the plate makes a wonderful presentation for a wall decor plate or a shelf decoration by Manufacture Nationale de Sevres’ in the French decorative arts and porcelain tradition.
