Vintage Murano Glass Necklace

This Murano glass pendant is created in a translucent abstract hand-blown glass star form and is sure to add vibrance and modern color to any outfit or wardrobe. The organic form of the star almost appears as a starfish or sea life pendant choice. The choker style strand is decorated with hundreds of small red glass and yellow glass beads and adds a layer of texture to the silky finish of the glass star pendant center. The Murano glass pendant displays a complex layering and color, lines, and texture again a smooth and transparent surface, adding to the mystery and magic with vibrant candy color red, banana yellow, Christmas tree green, and swimming pool blue. The pendant also displays areas of gold aventurine decoration. This necklace is dated to approximately the 1980s or roughly 30 years old. The strand features a circular screw molded clasp.
