Shop this Chinese hardwood vase stand for sale. This antique vase stand is a unique gem that will bring a new level of decor and ornament to any decorative vase, bowl, or jar for displaying in your home or other interior space. This hardwood carved vase stand dates to the late 19th or early 20th century, circa 1900, or formally known as the Guangxu period of the late Qing dynasty.

This vase stand came to us from a long-time collector of Chinese art and antiques in the area of Austin, Texas. The openwork scrolling that forms the upper section of this stand is a true inspiration in line with the fine zitan and huanghuali furniture of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The underside of the four-legged stand also displays a revolving ring that acts as additional support for objects.


This vase stand measures 3.75 inches in height and displays an interior diameter for object sizing approximately at approximately 4 inches.


The object with imperfections consistent with the age of this item includes but is not limited to loose fittings, regaled joints, age cracks, and minor chips.
