This vintage ring has an inlaid abstract form with citrine and other gemstones and hand-colored copper-toned geometric lines, twists, and turns. This ring also has a Brutalist element in the monolithic bare-bones style of the inlaid gemstones with the topical geometric lines, shapes, and forms. This little ring has a lot going on with elements, shapes, and styles, coming from many different directions. It also has tribal elements in the free-form gemstone inlay in the true Bohemian crazy style, which in our opinion, makes this one fabulous vintage fashion accessory.

The inside ring band is marked Sterling, short for Sterling Silver or .925 silver, reflecting the ring band’s metal purity. We love vintage silver jewelry because vintage silver builds a rich patina through oxidation over time, something that is difficult to imitate with brand new “vintage” jewelry accessories, making this piece a unique find. Based on all the information for this piece, we determine it to date to the later 20th century, probably the 1980s or after. The interior band has a stamp marked “RP,” and we have not been able to trace the origin of that mark.
