Antique Egyptian Faience Beaded Collar Necklace

This exquisite Egyptian beaded collar necklace made of faience is an attractive piece of history. This jewelry was ancient in origin, likely crafted during the late period or later, C. 664-332 BC. From the fine faience material to the delicate colors and shapes of each individual bead, it’s an eye-catching work of art. Faience is a non-clay ceramic paste that uses quartz sands instead of clay as its base material. Consequently, it has been a popular choice for many pieces found among ancient burial sites.
