Dating to the late 20th century, circa the 1980s-1990s, this Limoges style box of Manhattan Island is handcrafted in the style of the fine French hand-painted porcelain enamels of Limoges and the British enamel boxes the 18th, 19th, and early 20th century. This three-dimensional model of New York landmarks includes the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, and the Twin Towers of the former World Trade Center.

This unique and vibrantly colored porcelain ad enamel decorated box displays expert craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. The box features an antiqued metal hinge and clasp frame and opens to store a variety of trinkets for your storage of rings, earrings, or other small jewelry. The box is unsigned and unmarked.
