Shop this Chinese trinket box for sale Designed in a fan form. The box is decorated with a floral chrysanthemum hand-etched into the box top surface. The reverse of this box is stamped Made in Hong Kong, with an additional makers stamp. Hong Kong, in many ways, has remained the export center for Chinese decorative arts for hundreds of years and continues in that tradition with this vintage trinket container.
The surface of the container is patinated in a toned brass coating, and the underside displays a metallic finish. We also like the oxidation and heavy patina the surface of this box displays adding to the antique look of this vintage item. We estimate this object dates to the 1950s-1976s.
