Shop this genuine vintage Louis Vuitton monogram toiletry pouch. Louis Vuitton has retained an air of excellence and luxury since its founding in 1854 in Paris, France, by the namesake of the company Louis Vuitton. As it’s now known, LV started out making large and highly detailed pieces of luggage. In the 1880s, Vuitton created the Damier Canvas pattern, which bore a logo that reads “L. Vuitton registered trademark” or marque L. Vuitton deposee.
It wasn’t until the 1930s, when the company passed to Gaston-Louis Vuitton that LV started using new methods of implementing their monogrammed canvas onto smaller leather goods and started to focus on smaller leather goods in addition to their luxury luggage offerings. The inside of the bag features a brown interior with a stamps label “Saks 5th Avenue 81”. The bag also displays the original Talon brand zipper with their signature LV printed canvas.
